Sailing - Mastering Wind, Water, and Skill
Introduction
Sailing is a timeless sport that combines skill, strategy, and a deep understanding of nature. It involves navigating a boat or yacht using only the power of the wind and sails. From recreational sailing to intense Olympic competitions, the sport offers both thrill and tranquility on the water.
How the Games is Played
In competitive sailing, the goal is to complete a set course in the shortest time. Races usually follow a buoy-marked circuit, and competitors must use tactics, wind patterns, and sail adjustments to outmaneuver their opponents.
Sailing competitions are governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing, updated every four years by World Sailing. Events can be solo or team-based, and races can involve different boat classes, from small dinghies to large catamarans.

Key Rules & Boat Types
Common Boat Classes:
Laser: Single-handed dinghy; used in the Olympics.
470: Two-person dinghy.
49er & 49erFX: High-speed skiffs for men and women.
RS:X / iQFoil: Windsurfing classes.
Nacra 17: Mixed-gender multihull class.
Key Rules:
Right of Way: Boats on starboard tack have priority.
Penalties: For breaking rules, such as failing to yield, sailors must perform a 360° or 720° turn.
Windward-Leeward Rules: Boats closer to the wind must stay clear of those downwind.
Start Line Rules: Boats must not cross the line early or face penalties.

About The App
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
