Water Polo

Water Polo -The Ultimate Aquatic Team Sport
Introduction
Water Polo is a dynamic and physically demanding sport that combines elements of swimming, soccer, basketball, and wrestling, all played in the water. Known for its fast pace, endurance requirements, and intense strategy, Water Polo is one of the oldest team sports in the Olympic Games, introduced in 1900.
Played worldwide, it demands strong swimming skills, team coordination, and mental toughness. Athletes tread water continuously and engage in fierce battles for ball control, making it a thrilling sport to watch and play.
How the Games is Played
Water Polo is played between two teams of seven players each (six field players and one goalkeeper) in a pool that is at least 1.8 meters deep. The objective is to score goals by throwing the ball into the opponent’s net.
Basic Format:
A standard match has four quarters, each lasting eight minutes (actual play time).
The team with the most goals at the end wins.
Players are not allowed to touch the bottom or sides of the pool and must tread water throughout.
The ball can only be handled with one hand (except the goalie).

Each team has 30 seconds to take a shot (shot clock).
Minor fouls result in a free throw.
Major fouls like holding or sinking a player result in exclusion (temporary ejection) for 20 seconds.

About The App
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
